Muzakarah PAS-UMNO

Isu semasa sekarang ialah tentang Muzakarah di antara PAS dan UMNO. Nampaknya penggerak utama di pihak PAS adalah mereka-mereka yang bukan lagi kepimpinan utama. Ada yang sudah kalah dalam pertandingan parti.

Masyarakat berbelah bahagi tentang ini. Ada yang menyokong dan ada yang tidak berkenan. Antara yang tak berkenan ialah kawan ayahku, Tok Guru Nik Aziz (atau Nik Ji').

Muzakarah ini timbul selepas BN banyak kalah dalam pilihanhaya sehingga BN tidak lagi mendapat sokongan 2/3 di Parlimen. Sudah sampai masanya kerajaan BN dihalang untuk berbuat apa sahaja di Parlimen. Sepatutnya mereka pikir tentang moral dalam hal ini.

New Computer

Quite sometimes I haven't got a chance to update my blog. The reason my computer was  unusable. Everything has gone. Only last week my new notebook arrive. But at home I have competition to use the computer. All my children except the youngest one a use computer. So I need to find a time to use it.

For the past few months a few events occurs that are significant in my life. Once is PRU12 whereby opposition parties have taken control of 5 states in Malaysia, i.e. Kelantan, Kedah, Peak, Penang and Selangor. This is the largest number of states falled to opposition control in Malaysia. That was a Political Tsunami in Malaysian Political Lndscape.

Significant also was contribution of bloggers to the election. More people have got information from blogs since the mainstream newspaper cnnot be dependable. One of blogger now is a Member of Parliament in Penang and become Political Secretary to the CM.

Singgah sekejap

Lama tak tulis. Singgah sekejap.
Rumah siap tapi bumbung dapur bocor. Tukang buat tak betul.

Komputer rosak

Komputer di rumahku dibeli sejak tahun 1999. Sekarang 2006. Selepas ku pasang modem dial-up baru, AGP card pulak tak berfungsi. Tiada signal di skrin.

Selepas pindah aku mohon pindah telefon ke rumah baru. Turut dipohon pindah ialah line streamyx. Walau bagaimanapun sampai sekarang line streamyx belum berfungsi. itulah sebab aku cuba ganti dengan dial-up modem. Tak tahulah bila komputer boleh baik semula.

Masuk rumah

Alhamdulillah, kami sekeluarga berpindah ke rumah baru pada 7 Mei 2006 yang lepas. Cukup lah dengan apa yang mampu dibuat, kami masuk tanpa peralatan sepenuhnya. Masih banyak barang-barang yang belum dapat disimpan di tempat yang sesuai. Tunggulah peruntukan baru untuk penyediaan tempat tersebut.

Selepas sekian minggu masuk, ada pulak bocor, di antara bahagian baru dibina dengan dinding asal. Di situ air dari atap terus jatuh ke lantai. Bila hujan banyak, airpu meresap dicelah rekahan simen yang tak sempurna dipasang.

Anak kami

Anak kami yang telah dilahirkan dalam bulan Ramadhan lepas kini sudah berumur lebih 5 bulan. Ini kini sudah boleh mengangkat punggung untuk merangkak. Merangkaknya belum sempurna. Dia suka bermain dengan apa-apa benda berwarna yang berhampiran.

Kata orang kulit dia lebih cerah dari kakak-kakak dan abangnya.

Rumah siap, Pahat berbunyi

Setelah menerima kunci pada pertengahan Januari 2006 rumahku belum boleh diduduki. Aku dan isteri decide untuk sambung bahagian dapor.

Setelah confirm dapat duit, kamipun memberikan kerja kepada satu kontraktor. Hingga sekarang kerja tersebut belum disempurnakan.

Kerja memasang mozek diserah kepada kontraktor lain. Begitu juga dengan jeriji pintu dan tingkap.

Diharap kami selamat pindah ke rumah baru menjelang akhir April ini.

Sekali lagi isteriku mengandung.

Anak yang lepas dia mengalami masalah Diabetes semasa mengandung. Alhamdulillah kelahiran tersebut normal. Kini anak tersebut sudah 2 tahun 9 bulan.

Kali ini ada masalah lain pula. Uri/Pacenta nya dibawah. Sebahagian lubang rahim tempat kepala anak keluar tertutup. Kini sudah 36 setengah minggu. Amat bahaya jika dibiarkan. Leher bayi boleh terjerut semasa kelahiran.

Jika placentanya pecah, anak dalam kandungan boleh meninggal. Kesian, kerana sudah dikandung lebih 8 bulan.

Jika tunggu dirumah, berapa lama boleh tiba ke hospital. Hospital yang berkenaan ialah HUKM. Jika jalan tak sesak 20 minit boleh sampai dari rumah. Itupun kalau boleh cepat kekereta. Dan mungkin 1.00 malam. By the time tiba di hospital bayi mungkin sudah meninggal.

Oleh itu ibu perlu ditahan di hospital. Isteriku ditahan bermula pada Isnin6 Oktober, 2005.

Tinggallah aku bersama anak-anak dan pembantu rumah. Melayan kerenah mereka. Bukanya senang. Tambah pula bulan puasa. Abang Ngah dalam Darjah 3. Beliau bangun bersahur. Tapi bila dikejut ke sekolah, beliau sangat mengantuk. Asyik merenget hingga ke bilik air. Masuk bilik air tak mandi. Hanya siram kaki. Akhirnya keluar dan terus tidur. Hari ini Sabtu, sekolah ada sebagai ganti cuti selepas raya. kesian anak-anak. Ahad pula ada kelas Smartreader. Tak boleh cuti.

Replace modem again!

Last week the lightning isolator didn't work anymore. The modem gone again. A new RM145 Dlink Router was replaced on August 6, 2005.

This new modem was bought at Pikom PC Fair which was held at new Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

A Thunder again!

Just over a month ago I have to change my DSL modem. It cost me RM150.00. Together with that I bought a big surge protector.

2 days ago a big thunder again in evening. The surge protector saved my modem. But I have to buy a new surge protector.

After searching in a few shops, I found one in nearby Giant. It cost me RM18.99. It has a replacable fuse plug into one of the slot. It is a Telestar Model 6000P Phone Isolator.

Hopefully I don't have change it in the next 1 or 2 months.

A Thunderstorm and the modem gone!

For the past few days I was without internet service at home. The only way to access internet was through office computer.

The reason was my modem has gone. When a thunderstorm occur, you have no chance to take any action. It is very fast.

I heard something clicking. Ah, must be at the modem. When tested, no dialing were successful. When I tried to access the admin through browser, it still work, but testing on ADSL fail.

Oh! Another RM150 need to spend. Otherwise no more internet.

Today, after spending sometime at The Mines' IT Center, I decided to buy a new Aztech.

I rush back to test the modem. Hopefully, I can access internet again from home. But, one light fail to appear, A light with a word Eth beside it. Ah! is it due to the NIC? No. After testing with my old modem, the NIC work. Only the DSL light is off (for the old modem).

I phone the shop. I was asked to go back to the shop. OK. But another RM2 for parking. I've got a replacement. The light turn on when connected to network point at the shop.

I tried to rush back as soon as possible. But the road was full of car. There was a long traffic jam outside the build towards the exit. Oh1 The NAM peoples are having dinner at The Palace of the Golden Horses. After sometime I reach home.

Now I can use internet again. But this time I also buy a new equipment. A surge protector. I connect my telephone line through the surge protector. By the will of Allah, I will not lose the modem as soon as the previous one.
